Voluntary Work

As a volunteer you will be building homes for the most vulnerable families. The houses are built with a window, a lockable door and a toilet. They are then furnished with bunk beds and painted whatever the colour the family decides.

There are also opportunities to help in healthcare and education within these communities. In a short space of time your work will have a positive impact on the their lives of the communities that you are working alongside.

The Project Goal
Once the house is finished, a plaque is placed on the wall displaying the family’s name.

All that remains is for the family to take the keys and move their belongings into their new home. This is always an emotional time for both families and volunteers alike and an extremely rewarding moment that you’ll never forget.

The Houses
The aim of the project is to build a new concrete home for vulnerable families, built with a window, a lockable door and a concrete floor. It is then furnished and painted whatever the colour the family decides.

Each new house is completed from start to finish within six days. This is an extremely rewarding project which allows volunteers to see the final results of the building work being completed, the keys being handed over, the families moving in and seeing their lives changing forever. It is an amazing feeling that you will never forget.

Part of the community
The house building locations have a fantastic community spirit. Each home is built by a maximum of five volunteers alongside three local builders, the families are also keen to help out on their new home.
