Going on safari is an ideal way to discover African wildlife but, if you are really passionate about animals, voluntary work in Zimbabwe enables you to get even closer to them and do something positive on your Africa gap year at the same time.

If you would like to do some Zimbabwe voluntary work we have three extremely worthwhile programmes to choose from. Two of our Zimbabwe career break programmes provide the opportunity to get involved with a lion breeding programme. Our other Zimbabwe voluntary work programme is a WWF endorsed project dedicated to saving the gravely endangered black rhino from extinction.
